How to begin the Jade Moon Correspondences Course:

Step One
Please answer the following questions:

• How did you hear about the Jade Moon Correspondence Course and what prompted you to consider taking the first Gate?
• Are you interested in learning more about the White Tigress Tradition? If so, please state why.
• Briefly state anything you feel is important for me to know about you as we begin Gate One.

Step Two
Complete and return these questions with payment. Each Gate is $250 USD.

Step Three
Upon receiving your responses to the Preliminary Questions and payment, students will be emailed a copy of the Gate One. Each gate will consist of detailed teachings, lessons, questions or tasks for you to complete.

Step Four
After reading the material, each Gate allows students to submit 3 questions by email they feel are most relevant to their practice. When you are ready, you will send back your responses and questions to Amara.

Step Five
These questions are then answered in detail by Amara Hsien Ku and emailed back to the student along with the appropriate tasks or lessons.

Step Six
The student then completes the given tasks or lessons and submits their comments and observations back to the instructor.

Step Seven
Once you have completed a Gate you can then decide if you wish to continue to the next one. Presently, there are 10 Volumes (Gates) in the Jade Moon Correspondence series.

What is the purpose of this course?
The purpose is to assist you in gaining a clear understanding of the role sexuality plays in your life. Its main goal is to help you have a more empowered, positive and fulfilling sense of yourself. The Jade Moon Correspondence Course offers a variety of ways to help you create relationships and sexual experiences that bring you greater confidence, joy and beauty into your daily life.

What will I be doing during this course?
Once you enroll you will be sent a Gate that contains teachings, inspirations and tasks for you to complete in your own time. Each teaching will be followed by a Task that will help you integrate the ideas into your own life. You will take your time to read and practice things suggested by the teachings. When you are ready, you will send me an email with your comments and questions and then I will respond back to you answering questions and offering suggestions. You can then decide if you would like to continue to the next Gate.

What kind of Tasks will I be asked to do? Will I be asked to do things I do not want to do?
You will never be encouraged to do or try anything that you do not wish to do. The tasks are designed to help you take actions that will help you achieve your desired goals. For example, if you are seeking to meet more men, the task will inspire you keep on track. If you wish to initiate more sexual experiences or you wish to intensify your passionate expression, the course will help you keep focused on what wish you desire to achieve. The tasks will always be things that you decide are right for you.

What are the teachings and lessons about?
The teachings present keys to understanding spiritual sexuality. Presented in a series of 10 Gates, teachings, tasks and questions are presented in a gradual progression building on your understanding and individual interests.

What is spiritual sexuality?
Spiritual sexuality does not refer to religion or religious beliefs. Spiritual sexuality simply means being more kind, sensitive and aware when it comes to sex.

I am an initiated White Tigress and thus offer a Taoist perspective to sexuality. Taoists seek to be tolerant and accepting of all things and wish to achieve health, vitality and youthfulness through kindness and compassion. The Jade Moon Correspondence Course presents long established views, and time tested methods for achieving optimal sexual harmony and health.

However, this course is not meant to persuade you into becoming a Taoist or a White Tigress. Just as you might read a book about Buddhism, and use certain principles that appeal to you, so this course is meant to inspire you with ways to bring you greater beauty, joy, and sexual understanding no matter what spiritual affinities you may have.

What are the Core Values of this course?
The Jade Moon Correspondence Course is founded on the principles that we are all made of female and male energies, and that we need our opposite energy to balance and replenish ourselves. The course is meant to guide you in creating blissful unions with greater compassion, passion and love. This course teaches that there are certain sexual practices that drain our life force, and others that support great health. Therefore, it is recommended that you are open to exploring ideas presented in the book: The Sexual Teachings of the White Tigress. You do not need to have read this book beforehand. If you have read it, you will be exploring and applying these ideas in much greater depth and detail.

Do I need to be in a relationship to start this course?
No. You will be encouraged to cultivate whatever kind of relationships that work for you. You can be married, single or have multiple partners. You can be heterosexual or bisexual. You must be open to exploring sexually with members of the opposite sex to benefit from the teachings contained within the Jade Moon Correspondence Course.

How long does each Gate Take?
This depends entirely on you and your schedule. The correspondence course is like having an ongoing workshop that travels with you wherever you go. It will inspire you to keep sexuality a healthy and vital part of your life no matter where you are. The time ranges from two weeks to about a month, or longer. You can take as long as you wish to complete each Gate. Once you have completed a Gate you can always refer back to the teachings, tasks and reflections. In addition, over time you will have created a dairy of your progress, full of your own personal insights as well as reminders of things you wish to come back to.

I have practiced and taught spiritual sexuality workshops since 1987. Since then I have trained men and women around the world helping them enjoy healthy sexual lifestyles. I am trained in the White Tigress tradition of Taoist Sexual Arts, and I am a practicing Tigress. I have been a student of Hsi Lai for many years. He has generously given his support in advising me to offer this Jade Moon Correspondence Program.

The course will include many teachings and methods from the White Tigress tradition as well as specific concerns regarding relationship issues. Therefore it will be necessary to read and be familiar with the practices contained in The Sexual Teachings of the White Tigress and The Sexual Teachings of the Jade Dragon by Hsi Lai. It is also suggested that you read and are familiar with my book: Sexual Agreements.

How this Program came about:
In my own practice, direct correspondence with Hsi Lai has given me continual guidance and allowed me the time to integrate these profound and subtle teachings into my own life, in my own way. In past generations, these teachings were orally transmitted, and each student’s temperament was integral to the manner in which they were taught. It is with this in mind that I have decided to offer and present this Correspondence Course.

Having someone to talk to about extremely personal matters helped me to answer the many questions that arise during the course of experiencing the great and subtle changes that occur. My own correspondences with HsiLai were of immeasurable value. They helped keep me “on track” and reduced the countless distractions that can happen during the course of such an endeavor. While at times confronting, and at other times reassuring, I have deeply appreciated the consistent and personal inspiration and advice I have been blessed to receive for so many years. It is with sincere gratitude that I offer this opportunity to those interested.

Taoist Sexual Arts and Restoration
White Tigress Green Dragon Training Program

General Description
Intended for those interested in learning more about the White Tigress • Green Dragon teachings. This training program is an intensive course designed to provide an in-depth foundation for personal study and cultivation of the Three Treasures for sexual energy (ching), vital energy (qi), and spiritual energy (shen). Any woman or man may enroll in the Training Program and will benefit from learning these Taoist practices for physical, sexual, internal, and spiritual restoration.

Level One is meant to take a select group of woman and men through an extended period of understanding and practicing the Tao of yin-yang sexual harmony and revitalization of sexual energy. Much the way a Suckling Tigress or Dragon was traditionally trained in the White Tigress tradition, this program is being offered to present detailed instructions and explanations on Taoist Sexual Arts.

In the beginning, it is not necessary to know if you wish to become an actual Initiated Tigress or Tiger (detailed information about initiation process and requirements will be given to all participants in Level One training). In fact, the first level of the Training Program is meant to be a period of exploration and immersion into these practices in order to discover whether it is in your heart to attempt to become an Initiated Tigress or Tiger. The teachings contained with Level One regarding the Tao of yin-yang sexual harmony will benefit anyone seeking greater sexual health and joy within their sexual unions.

Note: Primarily everything taught in this Level One Training Program is the pre-requisite for initiation. After completing Level One, if a student so decides, he or she can move to Levels Two, Three, and Four.

• Level Two focuses on the Transformational Techniques. For more information on this level see The Sexual Teachings of the White Tigress book, pages 223-256.
• Level Three is a home study and examination process.
• Level Four is the actual initiation ceremony.

This program provides the most comprehensive and in-depth course available for personal training within the White Tigress tradition. Exclusively offered in this format for the first time in the United States, it is meant for sincere students who wish to learn the arts of self-cultivation in the White Tigress Green Dragon tradition.
