The Taoist Sexual Arts Retreat with Amara and Shyena
The retreat was utterly gorgeous. Thanks to everyone who was there.
Here is what someone wrote,
Dear goddesses:
thank you so much for your insightful teachings and exercises, and especially for thinking of inviting me. Amara, you are a superb workshop teacher! What amazes me is not so much how clearly and accessibly you talk about philosophies and concepts that are foreign to your students. (this one is the hidden compliment) It is rather how you facilitate, nourish and protect that space of trust and freedom that we create together in which we can study, explore and experience fully by allowing ourselves to be vulnerable. (And that is the big one).
Shyena, your support for Amara and your creativity helped a great deal in creating the atmosphere and your strength is teaching by doing. You demonstrated so naturally what Amara was talking about! And even so the visual memory is still lingering quite clearly, I really missed you this morning when I did the chi gong and willow waist!
